    Your mother always told you never to go to bed angry. Since such a rule existed, you tried your best to resolve your anger with your Italian lover, Romano. It's just that Romano was stubborn. Very stubborn. He was always like this. Once he made up his mind, it was signed, sealed, and delivered. And he decided that he was going to win this fight, if it was the last thing he did.

    In hopes of changing the subject, you started asking questions. It was the only thing that could change the subject. It worked before, so why couldn't it work now?

    "Romano, c-can I a-ask you something?" you asked, stuttering a bit. You honestly didn't know why. Yes, Romano could get scary sometimes, but not to the point of where you were afraid for your safety. Besides, you could get just as mad and scary as he could, sometimes even worse. 'Maybe nervousness?" you thought.

    "What Bella?" he asked. Good, he was calming down already.

    "I'm not looking to start anything, God knows we don't need anything else starting up right now, and I'm not trying to make you mad or pissed or anything...." you trailed off. You didn't know how to set your question into terms of where you wouldn't hurt him.

    "Just spit it out." he said in a monotone tone. He clearly wasn't too interested in what you had to say. Nonetheless, you still kept going.

    "Romano, why are you always mad?" you asked in a hushed tone. You weren't sure if he would tell you nicely, or get even more pissed than he already was.

    "It's a long story, and I don't feel like telling you." he said quickly, his voice shaking. He soon proceeded to storm upstairs, meanwhile, he left you with a dazed look on your face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    You quickly ran after him, wondering what got into him. 'He's not usually like this..." you thought. You saw your bedroom door ajar, so you assumed that Romano was hidden in there. You slowly walked towards the door, afraid that if you barged in he would get frightened, as if he were a scared puppy. What was revealed to you was a sight to be seen only once in a lifetime.
    Romano was crying.
    Crying. Tears. Just streaming down his face. You dashed to his side, not sure what exactly set him off. Regardless, you started apologizing.
    "Romano, I am so so sorry... I didn't mean to make you cry-" you said in a shaky voice. It sounded like you were about to cry as well. But, in the midst of your apology, Romano cut you off.
    "No, it's not your fault. You didn't make me cry..... your question did." he said, wiping away tears. You gave him a confused look, and he kept going. "It's because of... well.... nevermind I probably shouldn't-"
    "Go on." you interrupted. You knew that if he didn't talk about this now, that he wasn't ever talking about it.
    Reluctantly, Romano continued his thoughts. "The reason why i'm so mad is because of some of the people in my life. L-like my brother and Antonio. Antonio and his friends would always compare me to my brother. If I got a B in a subject, he would tell me to be more like Feliciano and get A's instead. If he was good at something, I was terrible at it. Feli always had everything in his life perfect. He had plenty of friends, talents, love, everything. I always had the worst. Few friends, no talents, no love. Everybody kept comparing me to him. It's like I had to be him, or else I was no good. It makes me feel like i'm worthless, like i'm nothing. I feel like i'm a little, worthless fish in a sea of wonderful and talented people."
    "You're wrong." you spoke. "You're dead wrong. Romano, you have so many great talents. You're a wonderful cook, you have comedy basically running through your veins, and from what I can tell by that little confession you gave me, you have wonderful literature skills. You do have friends, you just don't realize it. And please, please don't say that you don't have any love. Because you do. I love you more that anything and everything in the world, and I wouldn't give you up no matter what."
    Romano chuckled, and replied "Yeah, I guess you're right." Kissing you on the cheek, he held you in his arms. Everything you said was true, and Romano knew that for a fact. You loved each other so much. Even the biggest of fights couldn't split you up.
    You both knew that not everyday is going to be a good day. Some days, you might want to do who knows what to the other person, but you always work it out at the end of the day. And that's really what matters. After all, your mother did say that you should never go to bed angry.
i know how Romano-san felt like because i would always compare myself to my older sister cause she had awards all over the room and i would have nothing to show for, then i went to changing myself from my family and put on a 'mask' that they all fall for and if i say one thing wrong they won't stop b****ing about it. wow sorry long comment *sweatdrop*
